Continuity Terms of Use
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Continuity, a capacity-aware planning service operated by Ambitious Peace Global Ltd ("we", "our", "us").
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and us. You accept them when you create an account. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
2. Definitions
"Service" – the Continuity web application and any related tools or integrations (including Google Calendar).
"User," "you," "your" – any person using the Service.
"Google User Data" – has the meaning given in the Google API Services User Data Policy.
3. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be 18 or older and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Description of the Service
Continuity provides AI-assisted planning and task management. It helps you capture what is on your plate, understand your capacity, and see what matters now.
AI Disclaimer: The Service uses AI to interpret what you tell it, to sort and organise your tasks, and to draft messages when you ask. AI can make mistakes. Check anything important, and check every drafted message before you send it. The Service provides organisational support only. It does not replace your own judgement, and you remain responsible for your own decisions, deadlines and commitments.
Nothing the Service shows you is medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice. If you need that kind of help, please speak to a qualified person.
If you speak your list, your audio is transcribed by a trusted speech-to-text provider as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your Account
You need an email address to save your work. Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
6. Google Calendar Integration
6.1 Connection occurs only through Google's secure OAuth flow.
6.2 Access is read-only. We can see your event details so the Service can plan around your day. We never create, edit or delete anything in your calendar.
6.3 You may revoke access at any time in Account → Connected calendars or at your Google Account Permissions page. When revoked, calendar features stop working and associated Google Calendar data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Trial and Billing
7.1 New users receive a free 7-day trial, starting when you verify your email.
7.1a Testers: if you joined Continuity as a tester, you get a free 14-day tester trial instead. You do not add a card for it. When it ends, we ask whether you would like to subscribe, at the Founding member price of £20.99 per month inc. VAT. Nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
7.2 No card is needed to start the trial. Nothing is ever charged automatically. When your trial ends, your work stays safe and viewable, and you choose whether to subscribe.
7.3 The subscription costs £29.99 per month, including VAT where it applies, billed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
7.4 You can pause your membership at any time, for as long as you need. Billing stops at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your work stays safe while paused. Resuming starts a new month from the day you return. Pausing never stops you cancelling.
7.5 You can cancel at any time. If you cancel within 14 days of starting your subscription (the day you start your free trial), or within 14 days of your first payment, everything you have been charged is refunded to you automatically. Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing. After that, access continues to the end of your paid period and no further payments are taken.
7.6 After your paid period ends, your account becomes view-only and we keep your work for 12 months in case you come back. After 12 months, your account and everything in it are deleted automatically.
7.7 If a payment fails, your access continues while we retry. If payment still cannot be taken, your account becomes view-only until it is resolved. Nothing is deleted.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Harass, threaten, or infringe the rights of others.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected networks.
- Keep what you write about other people to what you actually need. We ask this because it is the only real protection available to them. We are not able to ask their permission, and your agreeing to these terms does not stand in for it.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9.1 Limited Use and Prohibitions (Google APIs)
We comply fully with Google's Limited Use requirements:
- No Advertising Use – We never use Google User Data for ads.
- No Transfer for Ads – We never share Google User Data with third parties for advertising.
- No Human Access – No team member accesses Google User Data unless (i) for security, (ii) to meet legal duties, or (iii) with your explicit written consent for support.
9.2 Your Content
What you put into Continuity is yours, and so is what the Service makes from it for you, such as your sorted tasks and the messages it drafts. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We never use your content to train AI models.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Service (excluding your personal content and Google User Data) belongs to Ambitious Peace Global Ltd. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service.
11. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and your data at any time in the app. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription, so you are not charged again. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there as well, because only Apple or Google can stop those payments. You can also email hello@ambitiouspeace.com (subject: "Data Deletion Request"); we will delete your account within one month and confirm by email. Copies in our routine backups fall away within up to 8 days. Billing records are kept separately by Stripe as required by UK tax law.
To get a copy of your data at any time, email hello@ambitiouspeace.com.
12. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, the Acceptable Use section, or the Google API Services User Data Policy, or if we must to keep the Service or other people safe or to obey the law. Unless it is urgent or unlawful to do so, we will tell you first, explain why, and give you a chance to put things right.
If we close your account without fault on your part, or stop offering the Service, we will give you reasonable notice, refund anything you have paid for time you will not get, and send you a copy of your data if you ask for one.
13. Our Responsibility to You
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. As a consumer you have legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the Service is not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights. Citizens Advice can explain them.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you started using the Service. If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for your statutory rights over digital content and services, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
If you use the Service for your business, we are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Because the Service uses AI, some of its suggestions will be wrong, so please check anything important (see section 4). We work hard to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
14. Dispute Resolution and Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please tell us at hello@ambitiouspeace.com with "Complaint" in the subject. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay, and tell you the outcome. Complaints about your personal data are covered in our Privacy Policy, including your right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the consumer protections of the place where you live still apply to you.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the law changes or we change the Service. If a change matters to you, such as one affecting price, cancellation or your rights, we will email you before it applies. You can cancel before then, and if you cancel because of that change, any part of a month you have paid for will be refunded. Small changes that do not affect your rights, such as fixing typos or making things clearer, take effect when we publish them.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Ambitious Peace Global Ltd and supersede any previous understandings. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
